FAQs

  • Hypnosis is a heightened state of suggestibility, it is a normal and natural state of mind.

    It is:

    • A state of focused awareness where you are highly receptive to positive ideas about changes.

    • About concentration.

    • About getting past that little voice in you that says “No I Can’t.

    • About tapping into your subconscious mind to make lasting positive changes.

    • About taking control of your life.

    • About working together with your hypnotist

    • About change and using your own power.

  • Hypnosis works by achieving a level of focused awareness, and at the same time bypassing the analytical aspect of the mind. Another way to describe the analytical aspect of the mind is that it is a comparing mechanism. When new information is introduced to the mind, the comparing mechanism compares the new information to what it already believes is either true or false. This is a protective aspect of our mind. This is why changing habits by willpower alone is so difficult - we often already believe we cannot change, so thinking about making the change happen (using willpower alone) is ineffective.

Hypnosis is powerful because with focused awareness the analytical aspect of the mind is bypassed, and new, healthy and beneficial suggestions can be made directly into the subconscious, without the comparing mechanism rejecting these new beliefs. So the change we want to achieve in our life is accepted by the subconscious mind as true, and we see results quickly.

  • Hypnosis is extremely effective in helping clients change and grow. The subconscious mind is much more open to suggestions and has much longer memory than the conscious mind. By placing suggestions in the subconscious mind, most people experience a much greater chance of real lasting change.

  • Yes, Hypnosis is safe and natural.

It's a perfectly normal and common state of mind we go into naturally every day. You enter hypnosis regularly when daydreaming, watching a good movie, or reading a book. During these activities you remain consciously aware and in complete control, just as you do when a professional hypnotist assists you in entering into a state of hypnosis. Any normal person can benefit from hypnosis but mental health can be a limiting factor. Anything that causes an individual to be unable to concentrate or to be unduly suspicious, such as individuals who have psychosis or paranoia will make poor hypnosis clients.

  • Hypnosis is a state of focus consciousness that allows you to move beyond your old limitations. This is done when your hypnotist helps you focus your mind. It feels similar to experiencing a daydream. Usually, your body and mind will relax and it feels like a deep meditation. Although some techniques are very active and you may even speak with the hypnotist during your session. You can also emerge any time you want.

  • Yes of course! Any person of any age can be a good subject to be hypnotized. So, anyone of normal intelligence that's not mentally ill and who is willing to follow instructions for reaching a state of focused awareness can be hypnotized. As a matter of fact, you've already been hypnotized anytime you watched an enjoyable movie, or read a good book. Hypnosis is a normal and natural state of mind that everyone has already experienced. Actually, it's such a normal state of mind that most people don't realize they are hypnotized.

  • No, you cannot get stuck in hypnosis. You can emerge any time you feel like it. If by any chance you fall asleep, you will wake up on your own.

  • Hypnosis is just as effective in virtual sessions as it is in my office. It’s the same process.

  • The answer is a big NO.

In my office, I use the 5-Path® system and the 7th path Self-hypnosis® and as a professional, I respect all clients and will never put any client in danger or any situation of uncomfortableness. Hypnosis is safe and secure and clients can always emerge any time they want.

  • Nearly everyone can be hypnotized. The long-term effectiveness of the hypnosis session comes down to the client’s desire to truly want the change to happen.

  • Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnotic techniques intended to move a client toward health and wholeness. Such is the case when we work with clients who have diagnosable problems. So, Hypnotherapy is when a patient is diagnosed by a doctor and this patient comes to you with a written referral form for you to help him/her when nothing else worked for them, so you can help them toward health and wholeness.

  • Five-Phase Abreactive Therapeutic Hypnosis.

Your hypnotist will use a modern hypnotic induction, no swinging watches or blinking eyeglasses are used. These modern inductions are fast and efficient allowing me to spend more time with you working on helping you to attain your goals. We will ensure that you are going into just the right level of hypnosis for the kind of work we will be doing together. This will be done with covert and overt testing. Your hypnotist will customize each session for you. 5-PATH® hypnotists know how to match the right inductions, deepening techniques, suggestions and other techniques to each client for maximum results.

  • The 5-Path is a five-phase approach. It is not a five-session approach. Any phase of this process can be conducted in more or less than one session depending on many factors, such as the length of the session, the complexity of the issues that the client brings to the process, and the experience of the hypnotist.

  • The 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® approach to self-hypnosis is different from the previously discussed classical approaches in several ways. The 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® system sets you free from old patterns that have limited you up to this point in almost any area of your life. It is a new form of self-improvement. It combines the effectiveness of self-hypnosis, meditation and spiritually.

  • As a change process in itself, 5-Path® & 7th Path® together because they integrate together.

    1. Mind-Body-Spirit

    2. Deprogramming

    3. Affect Based

    4. Insight Process

If you are not a "spiritual" person, that is alright. You can still benefit a great deal from the practice of The 7th Path®. A certified 7th Path® Instructor or Hypnotist can give you more information.

  • We call this process the "Emptying of the Cup." During this phase of 7th Path®, the system works like anti-virus software for the mind, ridding you of all erroneous programming from the past that is getting in the way of your happiness, success and feelings of confidence. Once some cup-emptying has been accomplished, then the practitioners can use the system to make just about any kind of improvement that he or she wants to make in life. For example, the practitioner can become more confident, improve self-esteem, improve mood, become more motivated or overcome bad habits, addictions and compulsions.

  • A distractor is a coping strategy used to deal with and/or alleviate our feelings. It can be a bad distractor or a good distractor.

Distractors have no effect on the cause of the problem and the painful emotions generated, so you continue to feel unpleasant. Distractors try to divert attention on something other than that unpleasant feeling till a new feeling develops. We all should know what our feelings are for. Your feelings are there to help and guide you.
